Christian
Devotional
Book
It is important to be in God’s word daily. Through
Christian daily devotion we can stand strong
against whatever may come against us each day. We will be ready
with an answer for those who ask. “All scripture is given by
inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for
reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness…”
2Timothy 3:16 We should all have a Christian devotional
book next to our bed where we can easily reach it
early in the morning.
Christian Teen
Devotionals
As a teen you have many decisions and choices to make each
day. What friends to hang out with, what to read online, where
to go after school, knowing when to say “no thank you”, etc.
You especially need to “gird yourself” as it says in Ephesians
6:14: “Stand therefore, having your loins gird about with
truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;” The
word “truth” is referring to God’s word. There are many
Christian teen devotionals available at your
local Christian bookstore or online. I am sure if you told your
youth leader at church that you were looking for a Christian
devotional book he would offer you one for free.
Becoming a Strong
& Spiritual Christian
It may seem like an unattainable quest to become a strong
spiritual Christian. We all know ourselves too well. We know
how we fall short in so many ways each day. But the more time
we spend in God’s word the stronger and the more spiritual
Christian we grow to be. A Christian daily devotion which
includes reading His word can help us to know and trust in our
Lord more and more.
“Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal
life: and they are they which testify of me.” John 5:39 The
gospels are eyewitness accounts of Jesus life here on earth.
These men spent time daily with Him. They were able to spread
the word, perform miracles and bring people to the knowledge of
their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Isn’t that what we all want
to be able to do? Therefore we all need to spend time daily
with Him by reading His word and making it a habit to have a
Christian daily devotion.
